A photographic journal — visits, meetings, and the ideas that took root here.
Every May, the same modest arena fills with people who could be anywhere else in the world, yet choose to spend a Saturday listening to Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger discuss business, investing, and life. The fact that so many people were willing to make that journey year after year says something about the lasting appeal of their thinking.
What Buffett and Munger taught was not a set of formulas, but a way of thinking. They spoke in plain language about business, human behaviour, temperament, incentives, and the importance of knowing when to do nothing. They were also remarkably open about their mistakes, not just their successes.
Perhaps that is what made their lessons so valuable. They did not try to make things complicated. They simply showed how they thought, shared what they had learned, and encouraged others to think for themselves.
Their influence extends well beyond investing. For many, their greatest lesson was not how to make money, but how to make better decisions.
